Single shot guns
[edit]Q. Did Lefever ever make single shot 12 gage upland guns?
Charles F. LeFever
[edit]An excellent article on Charles LeFever's father. However, the Daisy BB gun was invented by Clarence Hamilton in 1888, not Charles F. LeFever. C.F. LeFever, did patent many Daisy BB guns and toys, including the No. 25 pump gun (1914) and the No. 8, liquid pistol, c.1915. He continued inventing and patenting for Daisy until 1953. Misplaced Information
[edit]The following info was placed in the references/links area for some reason. Did not know where this would fit in the actual article. Concerning the "Lefever Nitro Special" side by side 12 ga. shotgun I own, I just want to verify that on the barrel of my gun it says "Lefever Arms, Branch Ithaca gun company, Ithaca New York." These are the low end guns designed and made by Ithica using the lefever name for name recognition in marketing the product. --Scarlett Lily (talk) 20:33, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
According to the obituary of Francis Hollister, 1/6/1900, within the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, it was Hollister who invented the "Lefever" Gun. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.222.246.200 (talk) 03:05, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
