Likely Story

[edit]

How do we know that Levithan co-wrote Likely Story and its sequels? Because the books aren't credited to him. If it's something I don't know about, that's fine, but someone needs to cite it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.56.30.44 (talk) 02:10, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Amazon Look Inside for the paperback edition of Likely Story has:
  • "Written by David Ozanich" on the front cover. Unfortunately, Amazon's Look Inside does not include the title page.
  • The copyright page has
Likely Story copyright © 2008 by David Levithan, David Ozanich, and Chris Van Etten.
Likely Story: All That Glitters copyright © 2008 by David Levithan, David Ozanich, and Chris Van Etten.
Likely Story: Red Carpet Riot copyright © 2009 by David Levithan, David Ozanich, and Chris Van Etten.
  • The table of contents has:
Likely Story starting on page vii
All That Glitters starting on page 189
Red Carpet Riot starting on page 429
  • Page 674 is the last page visible in the Look Inside and the last story may run to pages 675 or 676 which are not available in the Look Inside.
From the Look Inside for the paperback edition referenced above there's a tab for the Kindle edition. That credits David Levithan, David Ozanich, and Chris Van Etten on the front cover and title page. It lists the story titles as:
  • Likely Story
  • Likely Story: All That Glitters
  • Likely Story: Red Carpet Riot
The copyright page credits all three authors for all three stories.
It appears the book contains three novels or novellas and that the three stories are each written jointly by all three authors. --Marc Kupper|talk 01:27, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
