Reasons for this page
[edit]In 1974 David Brugge asked me to see if any Navajo Scouts lived in the Chaco area and agreed to be on my Franconia College BA thesis committee. Anyone who researches history of the US Southwest, the Navajo or legal issues involving native Americans, will probably cite one of David's many works. I tried to set out the basics on this page. I look forward to improvements by others. And give a tip of the hat to the Brugge family for supplying 3 pictures of David. Rcollman (talk) 18:38, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
Linguist?
[edit]Why is Brugge included in two "linguist" categories? I am not aware of any linguistic work by him and there is nothing about linguistic work in the article.Bill (talk) 02:39, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
