Rumor mill

[edit]

Just to point out something that people seem to be ignoring, the article cited here re:Morrissey being the bookie's choice to replace Tennant includes confirmation that Tennant will star in all of the 2009 specials. Ergo any report that Morrissey is to replace him in the Christmas specials is false. And there are reports that up until a few weeks ago Tennant was negotiating to star in the 2010 series, too. 68.146.41.232 (talk) 03:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think given the efforts that the DW team are going to these days to protect plotlines, I don't think it is beyond the realms of possibillity that the recent talk of 2010 negotiations, or even DT staring in the other three 09 specials, is deliberate mis-information. Not to mention, the rumours that DM will replace DT doesn't necessarily mean it will happen in the Xmas special, and that isn't stated here. Without wishing to decend to far into Dr Who geekdom, there are two previous instances of a timelord adopting the image of an already existing person. In any event, I've been careful to just state that the bookmakers have him as odds on favorite for this, not that he actually has it. Limiting the statement this way makes it factual, notable and there is a source, so I think it appropriate to include it at the moment.--ThePaintedOne (talk) 08:05, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just say he's English!

[edit]

That's it, just say the man is English. Scouse is still English. You don't see Paul McCartney's article listing him as a Scouse musician do you?
