What's with all the fact tags?

[edit]

Almost all of the fact-tags are asking for verification of information which is plainly stated in the baseball-reference link at the bottom of the page.DavidRF (talk) 19:39, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK. I added citations. Citations for baseball career narratives are generally really easy to find (almost not worth citing). Next time, it would be helpful if the editor could find these themselves instead of leaving the article littered with fact tags for a few months. I only say this because too many fact tags leave the user the impression that the article is somehow controversial when there was nothing in this article that could not be found within five minutes of googling.
