Devon Bat Group
[edit]As indicated in the article, this is a conservation group with a specific interest in the welfare of bats in the UK county of Devon.
There is more to add about the conservation work done by the DBG - this is only a start. Any comments will be welcome, along with further factual details relevant to bats in Devon.

Notability
[edit]While the current article is not very good, I would argue that the group is notable enough for inclusion. They do important survey and conservation work with large organisations like Natural England and South West Lakes Trust. Some examples of their work from the internet:
- http://www.swlakestrust.org.uk/conservation/projects/bats-project Bat populations monitored at Roadford Lake by DBG
- https://www.southwestwater.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=9018 More bat conservation work with South West Water
- http://devonbatproject.org/project-partners/ Greater Horseshoe Bat Project - partners
- http://bigexeterbatsurvey.edublogs.org/ Exeter big bat survey 2015
- http://www.pebblebedheaths.org.uk/about-us/funding-conservation-partners.ashx Surveying for the Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust
- http://www.southhams.gov.uk/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=7027&p=0 Evidence from DBG used in application to re-open Hemerdon Mine
I would conclude from this evidence that the notability is established. Some of the above need to make it into the article of course. If there are no other comments, I will remove the notability template in a week. --NHSavage (talk) 21:39, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
