Marriage & more about Moore
[edit]Moore married Jane Powell when he was about 62. Is she his first wife? Does he have any children?
In 2006, he appeared on a Turner Classic Movies panel discussion on what it was like to be a child actor in Hollywood, Private Screenings: Child Stars. He was interviewed by Robert Osborne along with Jane Withers, Darryl Hickman, and Margaret O'Brien. It is rebroadcast intermittently (I saw it in 2010 when it was broadcast as part of Jane Withers day at TCM). I thought that since it's Dickie Moore day on TCM, that they might air it, but I don't see it on the schedule.
Moore's filmography is extensive, far more extensive than his wife's, Jane Powell. He was in great demand during his child acting years. Though his roles rarely starred, he supported starring roles with aplomb and reliability, always turning out excellent child characters. However, his article is quite skimpy in comparison to Powell's. Is there nothing more to say about him? Thank you, Wordreader (talk) 17:54, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
