Update necessary

[edit]

Hi, the Network section of this article needs an update:

  • Vogtlandbahn serves several lines Dresden, Görlitz, Zittau and Liberec since December 2014 (routes TLX 1, TLX 2, TL 60 and TL 61), the former route line TLX has become TL 70. Please check at [1]. "Trilex" is a brand of Vogtlandbahn GmbH.
  • In mid-June 2015 several routes between Plauen, Hof, Zwickau, Falkenstein etc. will change, please check here: [2]

Maybe someone has time to update this article as well as List of railway routes in Saxony.
Thanks in advance, regards Kleeblatt187 (talk) 22:10, 24 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Kleeblatt187: I have some concerns at the renaming- all the links give the name as Regentalbahn AG – Die Länderbahn which as far as I can see is correct. Company name - description. Using UK wiki conventions - the article die would be ommitted from the title if we were talking about a company. If indeed Drei Länderbahn would be correct but Die Länderbahn would be shortened to Länderbahn. We failed to keep the Erzgebirge in its original, and it is now stupidly titled the Ore mountains. German conventions I know are different. But now the question why do we have an article on the subsidary of one company which is owned (through a holding company) by a further company- which then deals specifically with one subsidary, of that subsidary. We do have an already have an article on Regentalbahn but not Regentalbahn AG or Regentalbahn AG – Die Länderbahn so why has Vogtlandbahn been renamed and redirected? Surely that should have been redirected in the opposite direction? --ClemRutter (talk) 16:57, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Vogtlandbahn GmbH", the company, has officially been renamed to "Die Länderbahn GmbH DLB", please see here at the official german trade register, the change being registered on 28 November 2015. The article die is now part of the official company name, before it was not. Regentalbahn AG obviously is the owner of this company, whatever name it is bearing. Vogtlandbahn is now only used as a marketing brand for rail services in the Vogtland area (actually where Vogtlandbahn GmbH originated, before expanding), but operated by Die Länderbahn GmbH, in other areas Trilex, alex, Oberpfalzbahn etc. are used also as marketing brands only. The latter brands had initially been used by "Vogtlandbahn GmbH", now they are used by Die Länderbahn GmbH". --Kleeblatt187 (talk) 18:49, 30 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
