Chhattisgarh or Telangana?

[edit]

@Xufanc: The source cited in the article is Wikimapia, which is not an reliable source, since Wikimapia is itself a wiki, and that too, one with far less controls. And even this source states that the peak is "possibly the highest point in Telangana".

The Doli Gutta village near the peak, mentioned as "Doli (G)" in Government records, is definitely located within Telangana. But that doesn't seem to be the case with the peak. According to other sources, such as 12, the peak is in Chhattisgarh. Google Maps also shows that the location with these coordinates is clearly within Chhatisgarh's borders. utcursch | talk 16:24, 24 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you are right, unfortunately this is all I could find regarding the highest point in Telangana. I am ready to alter and rename the article when the "real" highest point is found. But, although doubtful, it is definitely an improvement from the Laxmidevipalli highest point formerly mentioned in the List of Indian states and territories by highest point. If you are looking too, please keep me informed so that the necessary changes are made. Xufanc (talk) 04:24, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
