I moved a paragraph and put in a few paragraph breaks, but the whole layout is distracting and a good example of why one should learn about linking items in Wikipedia. The item is lifted from the subject's website, and there are simply too many red links (items about which there are no entries now or, perhaps, ever). I have started to blue-link some of the empty red ones such that they actually go somewhere. Others should be unlinked. The early born and raised bio stuff should be somewhere near the top. There is too much hype in this piece. The guy's a great trombone player, but I think one of his students must have put this up originally. Maybe for extra credit! (a bit later)

[edit]

I started the massive wikification project necessary to clean up the original entry. I took off the "needs to be wikified" tag, but it needs more work--which I'll get to sooner or later. We don't need to know, for example, who won the Super Bowl Game which featured Mr. Yeo as halftime soloist.Jeffmatt 16:37, 9 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

citations

[edit]

Somebody put a lot of citation requests in the section regarding Mr. Yeo's background. It seems to me most of these aren't really necessary, as this information isn't likely to be contested.

On the other hand, the sentence about his CD having the most music on one disc should probably be cited. --Tjonp 16:33, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Citations missing

[edit]

I have only just noticed this entry on Wiki concerning me. I deleted the "citations needed" tags in the biography as all of the information is true and verifiable from numerous external sources including bso.org, newenglandconservatory.org. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yeodoug (talkcontribs) 13:19, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
