Yuri?

[edit]

The infobox says yuri, and it's in the yuri cat, but that's not sourced anywhere (I think). Does this article belong in that cat? -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 15:04, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Rem is frequently kissing other girls in the show. There's nothing explicit, but that does lend itself to being in the genre. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 18:59, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just hesitant to keep her in the cat if a) it's not important to the story line(s) and b) it's not sourced. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 16:07, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I haven't found any reviews or anything that explicitly state that it's yuri, but having seen the whole series, I can tell you it's definitely there (perhaps mostly to appeal to the male audience, which is where the show is mostly aimed). There are yuri elements in the Cream Lemon series as well, but the series is most definitely aimed at a male audience. Why are you so worried about this? Does everything have to explicitly be in a genre for you to allow it to be listed there? The whole point of the categories is to allow articles to be more easily found. I'm sure there are many articles in the Yuri category which vary greatly in the degree of "yuriness". The yuri content of a story doesn't have to be a main element (or even an important element) for it to have yuri content. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 19:16, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You're right - in this case it doesn't matter a whole lot. I shepherd the LGBT cats for the LGBT WikiProject and this one came up as being in an LGBT cat but not having our project banner. I'll remedy that. Thanks for your information :) -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 17:02, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reminded me of the same things George Lucas did but better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaynedenny (talkcontribs) 10:35, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
