I've added an introduction and some text relating Dye 3 to other cores in the Greenland ice cap. The section on comparing the cores may be helpful since Dye 3 was from a far southern location, and Camp Century was from the far northwest. The map showing the coring locations is really great on http://www.glaciology.gfy.ku.dk/ngrip/index_eng.htm. Anyone able to get permission to use it?

Regarding the image showing the locations of the four Dye stations, I've uploading a new version to add a comment on its source which is in the public domain and was cropped to emphasize the apparent locations of the four Dye stations. Marshallsumter (talk) 10:21, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
