Titles returning?

[edit]

Hey i've heard a rumour going around that these titles will be brought back to ECW simply as the ECW Tag Team Championship. Does anyone know if this is true?  Belevsquad  (talk)  11:58, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was speculation they and the Television title were gonna return at December to Dismemeber but they didnt, most I've heard is possibly before WrestleMania or at ECW One Night Stand 2007The Legendary One 04:29, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they are returning. Check out [1] ----Belevsquad 05:20, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Rumor sites are hardly evidence. Not saying it won't happen because the rumor sites are right pretty often, I'm just saying you should still take it with a grain of salt. Besides, even if they are considering it right now, plans could always change between now and WrestleMania. Jeff Silvers 14:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's a rumour, they been wanting to expand ECW for some time now, it will happen just a question of when. Govvy 11:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

With two ECW superstars holding the Smackdown tag titles, now seems like a better time then ever to bring back this belt —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fisha695 (talkcontribs) 22:52, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't the ECW World Tag Team Championship?

depends who's definition of world title you're using.76.226.105.131 (talk) 20:02, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think he meant the name of the title, they were most commonly referred to as the ECW World Tag Titles in the real ECW. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 22:17, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Eventhough it is part of kayfabe, Apter mags ran an article in like 1999 granting all ECW titles World Title status after signing the TNN deal.--BeltFanDan (talk) 22:56, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That would have no effect on the name of the title. A promotion can claim world status or call their title a world title without PWI's approval. PWI world status is not an official standard. It's just a magazine's opinion. TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 20:34, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
