meaning of edappally
[edit]In this article i saw the author deriving the the meaning of edappally as the church in between. with all due respect to you i wold like to make a change in that. im a resident of edappally for the past 26 years and as per my ancestors they have a different version for the story. the term "EDA" means "IN BETWEEN" but pally has another meaning too it means " rest". this name was in use even before the foundation of church, since it was a major hold point for the travellers at that time. this information was passed to me by my elders in ma neighbourhood.
THANKU.
