The picture of damage along the NJ coast is NOT Long Beach Island, it is Mantoloking. People had corrected it numerous times, yet someone inevitably always changed it back- despite the fact that there is nothing citing it as Long Beach Island, and nothing suggesting it is LBI. I will correct it here, and on the NJ effects page. Here is a link to the Birds Eye view map of that same location for verification. The birds eye view is several years old, but the house in the center and right on beach are recognizable, as are some of the homes in the back along the bay. Impact on the Raritan Bayshore Communities

[edit]

This article misses the severe impact felt along the Raritan Bay at Port Monmouth, Keansburg, Union Beach, Keyport, and Cliffwood Beach. They aren't even in "other areas." Keep in mind that the Jersey Shore is the Atlantic Coast, while the residents along the Raritan Bay are in the Bayshore. It would be appropriate to create a subsection of the Impact section of this article and call it The Bayshore. There is plenty of content out there. I will do what I can to help. ~~

Someone who wants to bring in that content from out there and link and summarize, should. And should remember to sign with FOUR tildes. Jim.henderson (talk) 02:47, 9 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
