Different guy

[edit]

Mullah Ehsanullah Ehsan, who was the chairman of the Taliban's Central Bank, was killed in Mazar-e-Sharif in 1997 (see Ahmed Rashid's Taliban: Militant Islam, Oil and Fundamentalism in Central Asia, p.101, as well as 1. The current Taliban spokesperson is a different guy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.54.82.141 (talk) 13:07, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This user is correct. The book does state Ehsan died in Mazar-e-Sharif in 1997, and therefore, the spokesman must be a different person. --Aamsse talk to me 04:28, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Split

[edit]

I stated above that this article contains information of two different individuals, and I also included a source. Thus, it needs to be split into two separate articles. --Aamsse talk to me 21:37, 27 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
