Is it really named for the Canadian flag?

Ensign Peak in Utah as well as Ensign Magazine both demonstrate an LDS use of this term, and the town was founded by such people. I dispute the book's interpretation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.185.79.129 (talk) 15:46, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
