Correct Name?

This article is entitled "Equus". The name cited in the first paragraph is "Equis". Certainly both cannot be right. Can someone with knowledge of the matter weigh in?
Also, is there any friction between this car company and Hyundai, who has a model by this same name? Rainbow-five (talk) 06:42, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
