A fact from Escambia High School riots appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 11 July 2007. The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the racially charged Escambia High School riots, which reached a climax in 1976, continued in various forms for five years?
This article should probably be merged with the Escambia High School article. The school's article is more or less a stub, while this is a fleshed out piece of prose that really should be part of a history section about the school. There's no need to have a fork/daughter article given the fact that the school's article is so short.
