NPOV Comment

[edit]

There seems to be some push-and-pull on this page, from a user identifying himself as the Chairman (I assume Treasurer or Manager) of the British Association. He has removed good faith content that includes appropriately cited materials, that may be interpreted as negative to his organization's promotional aims. I wish to point out that Wikipedia is a digital encyclopedia that provides content (the good and the bad) about items that have a historical foundation. If, for example, a few authors indicate (from their research) that were dishonorable activities in the historical past, it does not mean that the British Association continues to do so today. I ask that the aforementioned editor provided substantiate his/her content blanking and POV edits, through reasoned discussion, and not merely start an edit war. ruben jc ZEORYMER (talk) 10:47, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
