I've removed this:

He is certainly the most reverred and villiefied journalist in the Arab world as described by the North Atalantic Monthly.

because it's stated unencyclopedically, and isn't really very informative. It's useful, however, because The Atlantic Monthly did indeed do an extensive piece on al-Qassem, which I'd missed in my previous quick research. Citation, for someone who wants to use it to expand the article: Taylor, Jeffrey, The Faisal factor: a talk-show host on al-Jazeera targets those he believes are the worst enemies the Arabs have: themselves, The Atlantic Monthly Nov 2004. p41. ...and then I added a cite to one bit from that article - more there, though. CDC (talk) 01:00, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it possible that the west completely ignores inner-arabian contorversies and tendencies to modernize? Otherwise this article wouldn't be a stub or even non-existing in the most major western-language wikis... Unfortunately I do not speak sufficient arabian to (at least) translate the arabian article... But I think someone should do it because - as I figured- this guy is quite an important person in arab media... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.175.22.3 (talk) 22:18, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
