Article or Redirect?
[edit]Hi there. I see a bit of a dispute has arisen (see Article page history) where editors do not agree on whether this should be (or could be by wikipolicy) a separate article.
My own view: it's a complex question, which I just addressed over on the CRS-8 Talk page.
However, by wikipolicy, once an article has been created, and it fails to meet any criteria for speedy deletions at WP:SPEEDY, then I suspect the most correct process for the discussion is to take it to WP:AfD, and not merely revert it to a redirect.
I am not (personally) reverting the most recent editor's movement of this article back to a redir, but I suspect that action was not correct per policy. I may do so in the future; simply to allow a proper AfD process to play out. And if another uninvolved editor does so in the short term, I would likely support that editor's revert of this back to a stub article.
In the meantime, I will note that the stub article, as created, even though it likely would pass muster at WP:GNG because this is such a highly notable launch and landing—very widely covered by reliable source news media—is so stubby that the article will win few friends, followers and supporters if it is not quickly improved.
