Katabatic wind
[edit]I think the blizard which thwarted the return of the Aurora to Commonwealth Bay being katabatic in nature is of interest, and rather than suggesting this was an unusual event it highlights that this type of storm is common here and it was entirely reasonable for all involved to consider the chance of the storm continuing for days or more to be too high to risk remaining in the area. - Changed to "... but powerful katabatic winds sweeping down from the plateau prevented the ship's boat from reaching the shore to collect the men." (Katabatic wind is linked above, and doesn't need linking again). Apterygial (talk) 13:10, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Schnitzel, why is Sinebot autosigning my posts after I sign with the four tildas? Am I doing something wrong, putting a space? Djapa Owen 12:33, 17 November 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Djapa84 (talk • contribs)
