GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
    • Do not use "then" in describing progression of route.
     Done
    • "The highway then proceeds as a paved, asphalt, six-lane highway, with a "suicide lane" dividing it. The highway then passes through "downtown North Richland Hills", passing several small businesses, "strip malls" and large neighborhoods." do not begin two consecutive sentences with "the highway".
     Done
    • The sentence "The highway then passes through "downtown North Richland Hills", passing several small businesses, strip malls and large neighborhoods." sounds awkward.
     Done
    • The sentence "It continues through North Richland Hills, intersecting with several large roads, passing a set of train tracks, and continuing pass several neighborhoods." is very choppy and needs to be reworded.
     Done
    • The sentence "FM 1938 travels for around 5.5 miles, before intersecting with FM 3029, then entering the city of Keller." also needs to be reworded.
     Done
    • The sentence "FM 1938 continues through Southlake for approximately one mile (1.6 km), passing several small businesses and strip malls, before reaching its northern terminus, as of 2012, FM 1709." is long, choppy, and sounds awkward.
     Done
    • The sentence "This will include the designation of approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of Randol Mill Road, and the creation of approximately two miles (3.2 km) of road, which will be named Precinct Line Road, in order to connect the current length of Randol Mill Road to SH 114." is long and may need to be split.
    • The sentence "On January 18, 1952, FM 1938 was designated in Hockley County, traveling from an intersection with FM 1490, heading in a westward direction to an intersection with Dallas Road (County Road 237, CR 237)." sounds awkward.
     Done
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
Citation needed for "The area of road that will become FM 1938 will connect several large neighborhoods to other major roads."
    •  Done
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
    • Can some more details about the physical surroundings be added to the lead?
    •  Done
    • Is the suicide lane a center left-turn lane? If so, it would help to change the link to center left-turn lane.
    •  Done
    • "The entire planned route will be approximately 11.1 miles (17.9 km) long.", isnt 11.1 miles the total length of the route when the extension is completed? This sentence makes me believe only the extension is 11.1 miles long.
    •  Done
    • Are there any more details about the extension that can be added to the history? When is the extension expected to be completed?
    •  Done
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
