This is a blog post but includes several pictures of Jacobsen that I can't find anywhere else (and neither has the author of one of the books on the subject, going by the comments section), which suggests it might be from someone in the know. It includes some biographical details that aren't in the other sources I've seen. If those can be confirmed with sources suitable for Wikipedia, that'd be great.

For a broader article about the Scottish Ambulance Unit, there's an interview with the last surviving member here. This article seems to give more details about the SAU as well.

I haven't translated enough of this to know what it's talking about, but it seems to be saying there was a Fernanda Jacobsen who was with the Red Cross (there's more than one Fernanda Jacobsen, though; this one emigrated from Scandinavia to Salt Lake City in 1888). I also have only limited previews of this and this. Someone with access to those books may find them useful.› Mortee talk 18:17, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
