Aydınyurt

[edit]

The alternative name of this town is Aydınyurt. But an editor keeps removing the alternative name without stating a rationale. I am waiting for a logical reply. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 19:58, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Fertek's unique name

[edit]

@Nedim Ardoğa: I am sorry to say that the thing you put is old enough and doesn't correspond with what you claim, as a second name of the town. it was used between 1928 till 2000, a randomly given name and taken back by the state thanks to people's desire! in my version it is aldready told so. don't worry any more! Vandalism to apply an obsolet information in a wrong place just to mispresent! Manaviko (talk) 20:34, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is an encyclopaedia and it can cover everything about a topic. Aydınyurt was an official name of the town. True it was abandoned. What is wrong to mention the former name in the lede ? Please check the lede of İstanbul where you can read the former names of the city. İskenderun, İzmir, Batman, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Ordu are some other examples.
