Sorry, folks, but two sentences do not a Wikipedia article make. What more can be said about SR 40? B.Wind 19:37, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A little extra history

[edit]

I haven't found much on the history of the road, but some old maps and aerial photos at Historic Aerials Online confirms that Butler Road and Front Street in Astor, Florida used to be part of SR 40. They don't cover an exact date for the realignment there, but I'm assuming it might've had something to do with the replacement of the Astor Bridge. Also, since none of them cover anything in Lynne, Florida before 1969, I can't tell if Northeast 10th Street Road used to be part of SR 40 or not. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 12:09, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
