In the article it says "United States pulled out leaving Mexico as the other NAFU participant." Does anyone know why the US pulled our, or have a source for that? Grande (talk) 03:47, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm unable to find source so I won't update the article but here is a common sense answer: It is because the pan american football games conflict with the Women World Cup. Only 1 week of delay between the two According to the article for their national team: "The Pan American Games are held in the same year as the FIFA Women's World Cup, consequently the senior United States women's national soccer team never participated in the Pan American Games" So basically while other countries use an inferior squad the US policy is to not send one at all.135.19.38.55 (talk) 22:37, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
