Redirect or not, and if so where?

This is the start of discussion about where this redirect should be targetted, or whether it needs to be a disambiguation page. This is to prevent an incipient edit war. I am not favouring any particular option, but would point out some context that may not be immediately obvious. There has been a previous discussion: at the time this page was a redirect to Involuntary celibacy, now Incel, and the result of the discussion was to redirect to Internet meme. This was then retargetted to Rage comic#Forever Alone, a section which was subsequently removed as uncited. Discuss. I am returning the article to the state following the last discussion, with no prejudice, simply as good a place as any to re-start discussion. I would suggest that further edits be avoided until some discussion takes place, and certainly stop the current edit war, remembering bold, revert, discuss. • The term "forever alone" is not discussed on internet meme, therefore it shouldn't redirect there. If there are multiple possible redirects and none of them are particularly notable, then it should be a disambiguation page. Thylacoop5 (talk) 17:19, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

Talk, good. Threats, not so good. Try explaining why a disambiguation page is preferred to any other solution tried so far. And try not to get hung up on Internet meme, which was chosen as an inoffensive start point, not an end point. If you don't like it, say so. Given the ongoing disputes, editing the article before discussing is in poor taste; it doesn't have to be resolved today or tomorrow and if you jump the gun you make it all the more likely that it won't be resolved at all. I dream of horses, I'm watching. I don't have strong views on the outcome, so haven't made a formal vote here.
