Was she the only battleship destroyed entirely by gunfire in WWII?

[edit]

Was Bretagne the only battleship to be sunk entirely by enemy gunfire in the Second World War? Just about every other battleship which was destroyed, seems to have been destroyed by either a combination of gunfire and torpedoes from enemy ships, or torpedoes and bombs from enemy aircraft. HMS Hood was sunk by the German battleship Bismarck, but Hood was a battlecruiser. Were there any other battleships sunk entirely by gunfire during the war? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Internetnicknamehere (talkcontribs) 14:45, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
