Spanish and french aren't similar. - signed by anon IP

Hahaha, yes of course. The two languages are of latin origin, many people can understand one conversation in both languages, but is more easy than Italian, Spanish and Portuguese than French or Romanian. --Vokoder 01:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How interesting the article describes the trilingualism of Hispanics living in Canada, especially if they live in a French-speaking province of Quebec, and their need to learn both English in North America. I've included the large number of South American refugees in France (most came from Chile and Argentina, both have a history of French emigration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries demonstrate the countries' distant but sociocultural ties with France) are bilingual...but in no time a mixed Franco-Spanish dialect was formed for one to communicate in both languages in a sentence. + 63.3.14.2 02:32, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page is original research and should be deleted. There is no such thing as Frañol or whatever its called. It is not a known dialect of any relevant importance and there are no sources to support this page. It might have well have been called Frabetan; A dialect which is the product of French and Tibetan spoken by the Tibetan community in Paris... bref... silly.--Guzman ramirez 14:45, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. What's this stuff about "Frespañol"? This kind of language is not possible, basically because in the border zone between Spain and France, in the Spanish side, people speaks Basque, Aragonese, Aranese or Catalan, and in the French side people speaks Basque, Occitan or Catalan. Therefore, the situation of historical contact between French and Spanish, simply does not exist. It neither exists in Latin America. Onofre Bouvila 18:22, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also think this article should be deleted. I´ve never heard of such thing as frespañol.--Xareu bs 09:01, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, if you haven’t heard of it, it must not exist! —Wiki Wikardo 05:29, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
