Thanks for the interest – will look into these later (I'm getting what I can from the heritage refs first) - Evad37 [talk] 16:24, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
some bigger range of piccies with a horrible range of terminology (bridge one, bridge two, west bridge, tall bridge, old bridge and so on) now on commons as well satusuro 16:35, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@SatuSuro: It would be good if they could be renamed to standard, unambiguous terms – "upstream" and "downstream" would be a good choice (as used in the heritage listing / assessment documentation). And as it currently stands, the usage of "one"/"first and "two"/"second" seems to be back-to-front, at least with regards to the construction dates - Evad37 [talk] 13:22, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
you will also come a cropper with the use of ascot rail bridge - the term used by the press and the railways is http://trove.nla.gov.au/book/result?q=subject%3A%22Belmont+Railway+Bridge+%28Belmont%2C+W.A.%29+--+Photographs.%22 satusuro 16:41, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Changed - Evad37 [talk] 13:22, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
actually its a bit more complicated - the history of bayswater (battye this arvo) suggests it was also known as racecourse bridge satusuro 13:36, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
