The article that the CorenSearchBot refers to above on the big chill website is in fact an almost verbatim copy of my original work. I originally researched and wrote the article for use on Gaudi's official website and as the copyright owner I have also also used parts of it (albeit an edited version) for this Wikipedia entry. Article title: Gaudi (Music Producer / Solo Artist) or Daniele Gaudi?
[edit]For a while now i have been carrying out the task of reverting well meaning title changes to this article. I originally wrote the article about the music producer Gaudi and entitled it Gaudi (Music Producer / Solo Artist) - so as not to confuse him with the architect Antoni Gaudi. As an artist Gaudi works as and is known only by the name Gaudi, NOT Daniele Gaudi; the name Daniele is used only by his family and he is not known in any way professionally as Daniele. As this article relates to him in a professional capacity only i believe it is incorrect to label the article as Daniele Gaudi. I have checked the articles of other artists who use one name titles such as Morrissey, Sting and Bono and their articles are entitled Morrissey, Sting and Bono not Steven Patrick Morrissey, Gordon Sumner and Paul Hewson - i imagine if they were entitled under their birth names rather than their professional names, as this well meaning editor would have this article, then no one would be able to find their articles. If for nothing else than for the sake of accuracy and professional continuity i ask if the title could be left as Gaudi (Music Producer / Solo Artist). Unless of course you are planning to get busy changing all performing artist article titles to their birth names instead of the names under which they are professionally known? Regarding disambiguation, i believe that the title Gaudi (Music Producer / Solo Artist) is not ambiguous and is clearly not about Gaudi - the architect. As an additional note Gaudi's article in the Italian Wikipedia is entitled Gaudi (Musicista). Please can we leave the page title as Gaudi (Music Producer / Solo Artist)?
