Here I'll maintain a list of my issues with this page:
1. The article references "variational free energy" in its initial paragraph, but there is no reference nor Wikipedia page. Is it a good idea to start a page that defines variational free energy?
2. Need a citation for "generalized predictive coding" in initial paragraph. I thought GF was generalized predictive coding.
3. In definition section, "sample space" is not familiar to me. Perhaps a bit more description or an example is warranted.
4. In describing the tuple, I introduced the control states, U, before S and X to avoid mentioning variables before they are defined.
5. The description of control states needs fleshed out. Aren't control states representing external causes? They act as external causes in the sense they control the output of generative model right?
6. In the Generalized filtering section I introduced G before the equation with F. I also started to define negentropy (H).
7. Where the Free Energy is expressed as a function of the mean only, it looks like mu_bar is being used. Is this correct? If so mu_bar needs defined. Ryan J. McCall (talk) 17:51, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
