Dates at The Canberra Times

[edit]

I have it in personal correspondence from Geoff (email sent to me) that his first day at the Canberra Times was 28 February 1978, and his final day was 29 February 2008. A 30 year stint, plus an extra day, due to the leap year in 2008. Can't find this mentioned elsewhere online, so I thought I'd note this fact here for now.
