I was asked to evaluate the translation here. It's pretty accurate to the Romanian; I've tried to improve the English a bit, but it's hard because I suspect there are canonical English-language versions of some of these academic titles, and I don't know what they would be. For example, "professor and titular of the Department "Elias Canetti" for Southeast European Intercultural Studies of Viadrina European University" seems unlikely English. I presume it is something like an endowed chair, but I've never heard of "professor and titular" and I haven't been able to find anything about this particular position outside of biographical material on Guțu. It's tricky, because the original must have been something in German, and I'm working from the Romanian. Anyway, the current article should be moderately serviceable, but (1) it reads like a CV and doesn't really tell anyone why they should care about this person and (2) it could doubtless be improved by someone who knew the relevant academic terminology better. - Jmabel | Talk00:40, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
