[edit]I believe Eleanor Calvert's grandfather Charles Calvert was 5th Baron Baltimore, not third. I don't have a source for the complete ancestry, but his birth date is ~200 years since his great-grandfather Henry Lee, so there is likely a generation or two missing here as well. I've edited to change " Eleanor Calvert Custis Stuart, {was a granddaughter} [descended from] of Charles Calvert, 3rd Baron Baltimore and of Henry Lee of Ditchley.--Paddling bear (talk) 19:31, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
step-grandson and adopted son of George Washington
[edit]I added "and adopted son" to "step-grandson of George Washington", this is important! - Brad Watson, Miami 66.229.56.118 (talk) 10:43, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
He built Arlington House and was the father-in-law to Robert E. Lee
[edit]In the opening introduction, I added, "He built Arlington House and was the father-in-law to Robert E. Lee." This is very important and should be included in a brief introduction/summary of George Washington Parke Custis. - Brad Watson, Miami 66.229.56.118 (talk) 10:56, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
George Washington Parke "Wash" Custis
[edit]In doing some research - including another Wikipedia article - I learned that George Washington Parke Custis was known as "Wash". This is important! - Brad Watson, Miami 66.229.56.118 (talk) 12:46, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

- I just noticed this. I thought this 'general knowledge' wouldn't be disputed, but you've proven my assuption wrong. Every good book ever written on George Washington and Robert E. Lee can provide sources for this basic information, just give me some time. - Brad Watson, Miami 71.196.11.183 (talk) 13:17, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
