Terms

[edit]

I saw this and have decided to take it on as such an article is VERY IMPORTANT.

  • ATL, EPAC, CPAC (NOAA)  Done
  • India Meteorological Department  Not done
  • Meteo France  Not done
  • BOM  Not done
  • JMA  Not done
  • SPAC  Not done

--

  • Excess terminology  Not done

@Hurricanehink: Do you have any suggestions for terms other than the official ones? I need to add basin and every warning center for sure. NoahTalk 02:52, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also... Should I add all the definitions mentioned by MFR? Some don't really look related to TCs even if it is supposed to be. NoahTalk 03:07, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. I would add all categories of tropical cyclones around the world (like Intense tropical cyclone, Super cyclonic storm). The MFR uses the NOAA FAQ, but yes, I would include any terms, even the ones that can be tangentially related. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 21:36, 15 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
