Did You Know that your DYK is wrong?

[edit]

I have the Wristcutters: A Love Story soundtrack in front of me right now. Let's see:

  1. Gogol Bordello (numerous tracks) -- living
  2. Joy Division -- Ian Curtis, suicide
  3. Mikal Portnoi Lazarev -- ?
  4. Del Shannon, suicide
  5. Screaming Lord Sutch, suicide
  6. Artie Shaw, old age
  7. Mushman -- ?
  8. Gram Parsons, drug overdose (like one of the lead characters in the film, "not a suicide").

The misinformation is everywhere, but you can even see the review of the soundtrack at All Music Guide for a debunking. This is why I don't like web references: loads of rumors get passed around. Geogre (talk) 12:01, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All of the source music in the film is from suicide victims - Gogol Bordello's songs are sung by a character in the film so were featured in the soundtrack but not actually in the film. —97198 talk 06:32, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
