  • ... that football player Gordon Cooper performed so well that "the adjective supply [was] exhausted" in trying to describe him?
  • Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Judy Kellogg Markowsky
  • Comment: Was busy yesterday and forgot to nominate on time; requesting a one day extension per WP:DYKG, which states The seven-day limit can be extended for a day or two upon request.

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
QPQ: Done.
Overall: When including the one day extension, the article is indeed new enough. I find the hook to be interested, and the source, being AP, is credible. The fact is also mentioned in the article. Marking as approved. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:11, 27 June 2024 (UTC) Hey man im josh (talk) 14:11, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
  • I feel like we should change "national receiving leader" in the lead and body to "national receptions leader" to be clearer. Receiving leader could also mean yards.
  • "in American Legion leagues" is that the same thing as American Legion Baseball. If so, wikilink it.
  • Add "first-team All-Skyline Conference in all three seasons at Denver" to infobox.
  • "As a senior in 1951, he broke Art Weiner's record for career receptions" Is that a school record or national record? Make it clearer please.
  • The body says he coached wrestling at Rifle but infoxbox doesn't say that. Maybe change to "Football, baseball, wrestling, and track coach"?

I think that's all. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 20:11, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
