User:Fuhghettaboutit, you have deleted the article without justifying it as copyright infringement. This article's content is similar to Government of Kerala. If this article is copied, Can i mean that article to be a copyright infringment of keralamforyou.blogspot? Please think twice and verify and then do.-தமிழ்க்குரிசில் (talk) 05:54, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@தமிழ்க்குரிசில்: Please explain what you mean. The article's text was copied and pasted from content at http://keralamforyou.blogspot.com/ I also see that the blog site has content that's also in our article Government of Kerala. This could by the blog violating our copyright, or our article containing content copied from the blog long ago, and which needs to be removed as a copyright violation. It can be difficult at times to understand who copied from who. (I attempted to suss who was copying using the Wayback Machine but they don't have an archived version of the blog.) Anyway, there's no difficult in seeing who copied from who here, as the article, Government of Puducherry, was posted today, with the content already existing at the external site. You may not take copyrighted text from somewhere else and paste it. The fact that either the blog, or Wikipedia is infringing as to Government of Kerala appears irrelevant to the issue here.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 06:29, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
But the written style of the article(Government of kerala) is in accordance with wiki style of writing. I mean to say that the content in that article is more or less same in other articles about governments of other states and it is not copied from anywhere else. You can see many statements like "Like in other states, governor is apppointed...." and "chief minister is ..with more executive powers" in most of these articles. Most of the content in this article already exists in other articles since they are common. I don't how you concluded that I copied. :( Please revert the deletion. I will remove all those contents except the infobox and templates. I will have to start off with it again. -தமிழ்க்குரிசில் (talk) 06:40, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@தமிழ்க்குரிசில்: Okay, I see what happened. The blog is a copyvio of Wikipedia, and you copied and pasted content from Government of Kerala without mandatory copyright attribution. When the person who tagged the article as a copyright violation, which I acted on, googled some of the content you had pasted from the other article, they then found it at the blog, when it was actually the blog copying us. Okay, so, please take a moment to read Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and focus on its section at the shortcut WP:PATT. In short, you must provide copyright attribution when you take content from another article (and it's really easy to do). Just note in the edit summary that you are taking content from another article, with a link to that article. Like: "copied content from [[Government of Kerala]]; see that article's history for attribution I will restore, and provide the attribution.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 07:07, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for guiding. :) -தமிழ்க்குரிசில் (talk) 07:13, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
