During the 1990s, while Mix 96 was on air under its current name, there was a Kix 96 fifty miles or so north in Coventry (since rebranded to Touch FM). I would be surprised if this was a coincidence. What was the relationship between the two stations? Beorhtwulf (talk) 19:44, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Whilst both had differing ownders during thier life Mix96 and Kix96 were never under the same ownership. There was a station called Mix 107 in High Wycombe which was a rebrand by the owners who also ow ned Mix 96. It was previously elevenSeventy ( 1170am) renamed Swan FM when it moved to FM then to Mix 107. There was a proposal to the Radio Authority toco-locate and merge the stations but this was rejected resulting in the Mix 107 licence bei ng handed back to the Radio Authority. 93.89.129.59 (talk) 19:56, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
