Town boundaries

There's a statement here to the effect that the town's boundaries are in some way related to the Winooski River. This is a bit hard to believe, as the headwaters of the Winooski are in the Cabot/Walden area, roughly 20 miles southeast. Hushpuckena (talk) 15:03, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. rm it. Maybe the editor meant Lamoille River? It does not seem improbable that river power was taken into account when drawing town lines in post-colonial times. Needs citation in any case. Student7 (talk) 02:27, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
