Conflict of interest

[edit]

User:Gory18 (talk)) appears to have a conflict of interest in creating and editing this article. The editor has been warned on his user talk page and referred to Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines. - Fayenatic (talk) 13:28, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A single-purpose account, User:Archidada (talk), has reduced the content and removed the COI tag. It is not clear whether this editor is also connected to the subject of the article. - Fayenatic (talk) 17:21, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What do you know, another SPA User:Vanart69 (talk) has joined in. This is a distinctive pattern of editing history. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:18, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lists are still too long

[edit]

If so much has been written about him, doesn't anybody have the time and interest to precis some of the most pertinent material from those articles, and cite them as the sources?

Even the "See also" list is too long, and most entries in it need explanations as to why the linked article is relevant to this one. See WP:LAYOUT for guidance. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:27, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I won't tag the lists again after the further reductions made today. However, the above advice still applies. - Fayenatic (talk) 22:35, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The expanded article is a lot more worthwhile, although it may need toning-down in places. Please see WP:SEEALSO for guidance on the "See also" section, which has been trimmed again. - Fayenatic (talk) 18:25, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All the tagged problems have now been resolved, and I have nominated the article as expanded by user:Mbtso (talk) to feature in WP:Did You Know. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:58, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I see....

[edit]

I came here to complain about such phrases as "In society’s absence of awareness and belief in a cosmological order, Henriquez glimpses residues of the former order still lingering, accompanied by a longing for the orientation that would allow people to feel at home in the world" .... Henriquez's mum I suggest might feel a tad emabaressed by the flowery stuff. AND. If society isnt aware of its own existance and no one believes the cosmos has order ,,,, then we are wasting time telling people about the inner thoughts of architects. This article is too florrid to be reprinted as a blurb. Needs a rewrite by disinterested editors. Victuallers (talk) 16:16, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You should have seen it before... but do go ahead. - Fayenatic (talk) 20:31, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming the article

[edit]

Given that the work of this individual has been almost entirely through the firm Henriquez Partners Architects, which was founded and made notable by Gregory Henriquez's father, I suggest the article be renamed and re-focused to Henriquez Partners Architects. As it stands now, it seems to be an almost embarrassing peacock feathering of an individual. An individual who has achieved some noteworthiness, but not as much as this length of article with all of its filler would indicate. Thoughts? Architectsea (talk) 2015 October 14

Removing fluff

[edit]

I am making a series of significant edits to this page because there was a lot of fluff and weird junk in it. I am going to remove most of this "Inspiration from personal stories" section because it is mostly nonsense. Raininginvancouver 22:45, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
