Family relation to St. patriarch Evtimiy

Tsamblak connected to Tzamplakon?

Are the Bulgarian Tsamblaks related to the Byzantine Greek Tzamplakon?--Zoupan 17:12, 30 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • I found this in a Bulgarian Academy print: "The meaning of the word cannot be derived from a Greek lexeme. The problem of why some Camblakon settles in the Bulgarian capital (or in the area) stands over, and why Gregory Camblak does not allude to the Byzantine descent of his ..." from Scripta & E-scripta, Vol 5, though we can't see which page it's on, the section is called "Gregory Camblak - On Some Controversial Issues".--Zoupan 12:04, 11 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
