William I of the Netherlands
[edit]Hmm, according to the William I of the Netherlands article, there are two times the RN took him from Great Britain to the Netherlands.
The first was in 1799, years before this ship was launched, and the second was "on 30 November 1813 William disembarked from HMS Warrior and landed at Scheveningen beach, only a few yards from the place where he had left the country with his father 18 years previously", i.e. it names a different ship.
What's the source for saying this ship ever did it? Lovingboth (talk) 12:31, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
- Looking, I see that the claim was made in Dec 2010 by an anonymous editor. HMS Warrior (1781) was another 74 gunner later converted to a prison ship... Lovingboth (talk) 12:36, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
