Harry G. Haskell Jr. → Harry Haskell – WP:PRIMARYTOPIC - but that may not be the case because the top google search result for "Harry Haskell" is the music and history writer (who doesn't have a Wikipedia page yet). Just "Harry G. Haskell" could be an alternative. Haskell the politician was also known as "Hal" (see Joe Biden's 2008 book Promises to Keep [1]), but my google searches of "Hal Haskell" + Delaware and "Hal Haskell" + Wilmington returned only hundreds of results compared to thousands for "Harry G. Haskell" + Delaware (~7.25k) and "Harry Haskell" + Delaware (~2.75k). Arbor to SJ (talk) 04:20, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose as I can't even understand nom's rationale. Dicklyon (talk) 05:43, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- OK, in plain English: I think this article's title should be just "Harry Haskell" because Harry Haskell the politician is the primary topic for "Harry Haskell" - yet a Google search of "Harry Haskell" implies otherwise, so I am suggesting just "Harry G. Haskell" as an alternative because it's not necessary to disambiguate with the extra "Jr.", or the nickname "Hal Haskell" that is less common (thus WP:COMMONNAME doesn't apply.) Arbor to SJ (talk) 17:29, 30 July 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose as it seems the Harry Haskell who has the top google search (which nom links above) will be another primary contender once he has a Wikipedia page, which seems inevitable (before 2030?). Randy Kryn (talk) 14:55, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
- So what do you think would be a better alternative: just plain Harry G. Haskell without the Jr.? There is no need to disambiguate "Harry G. Haskell". Arbor to SJ (talk) 18:05, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
