I reverted to the more expensive list of permitted baggage sizes since that seems that seems to be useful and valid encyclopaedic content (though maybe it should be split off as a separate page). There are numerous examples of lists within Wikipedia. It was severely truncated without any prior discussion. The previous contributors obviously thought it was useful. (a) It was NOT truncated. Not a single information was removed - try to give some evidence if you hold on to your claim. (b) If you want to have a list format then please go on and be bold and create the list article. I would appreciate that. If you are not interested in doing actual work then I'll redo the change to a textual style which is more appriate for an encyclopedia entry. Guidod (talk) 09:48, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In repairing the Flybe link, I noticed that when Flybe operate Loganair routes (under franchise / codeshare) the hand luggaze size comes down to an astonishing 40cm x 35cm x 18cm, 6kg weight. That's confirmed at the Loganair website - http://www.loganair.co.uk/service-info/flybe/baggage#baggage-cabin, which (today)also notes a different allowance again when travelling to/from Estonia! I guess if anyone wants to add this, it would go at the top of the list! roddr (talk) 20:10, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tabulation of information

[edit]

The information seems quite unorganised. Tabulating this data according to baggage size is not ideal as that is not what a visitor is looking for. I suggest that this be anchored around the air lines. Separate sortable columns for length, width height, weight, remarks, etc.

I am happy to edit; however I need some opinions. --[[User:Viharm--Akodi (talk) 15:12, 6 October 2018 (UTC)|Viharm]] (talk) 07:33, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

See [[WP:WWIN], the article is about hand luggage, not the airlines - those are given for references about the luggage sizes. I've seen a proper sortable table and it tends to expand to cover ALL airlines across the world. So, I don't like it but I see the point. May be some others to have an opinion? It would be handy to have such a table on wiki. Meanwhile, I add an external link to an extensive table. --WikiHannibal (talk) 23:14, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ryanair info to be updated on 2018-11-01

[edit]

Ryanair has a new policy, which will be fully enacted from 2018-11-01 onwards. The old info should be accordingly removed around that date... --Akodi (talk) 15:12, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
