Quality
[edit]This is an excellent draft of the article and i think that the information is well sourced. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 17:11, 5 September 2009 (UTC))
- Yeah... not really. Digital Spy is NOT a reliable source, sorry.--12345abcxyz20082009 (talk) 01:37, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- DS is a highly reliable source. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 10:28, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
At the moment the article is mainly quotes so it doesn't really matter what the source is (in my opinion of course). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Omnisci24 (talk • contribs) 12:38, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- Well, at the moment, the things sourced to Digital Spy are that it's a ballad, who wrote and produced it, and its length. The other DS stuff is quotes from Nick Levine from DS describing the song. If anyone thinks they can find a more reliable source for the balled, writers, producer and length, then feel free to use that instead, but in my experience over the last few years on Wikipedia, I've always found DS to be very reliable and nobody has ever had an issue with it before. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 12:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- I agree with AnemoneProjectors, although i will point out that Digital Spy has been questioned on numerous AfDs/dicussions where soemtimes it gets the thumbs up whilst other times it doesnt. However currently digital spy is very well known and many artists give interviews. The music editor Nick Levine is actually seen as quite high profile and review Madonna's "Celebration", Whitney's "Million Dollar Bill", Leona's "Happy" all before they got released. They have the official backing of record labels because when Beyonce released "Sweet Dreams" columbia/sony music sent an exclusive remix to digital spy for fans to download. 99% of their reviews are factual and well qualified. Digital Spy should be treated the same as say Vibe Magazine, because they usually state exactly where they got the information from. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 15:25, 6 September 2009 (UTC))
x factor
[edit]is it not safe to say that she will perform the song on the x factor like all her other songs released near that time Blazemon (talk) 22:03, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- No, it isn't safe to say that because she might not. Just beacuse she went on X Factor to do "Run" last year and "Bleeding Love" the year before doesn't mean she'll perform on there again this year. We're just guessing that she will. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:26, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- See WP:CRYSTAL. Dt128 SpeakToMe 17:12, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
Oh However
[edit]Its now 18. Make it sound so negative. The song has only 1 million audience on US radio.
Video
[edit]Is there a video for this song yet? It seems odd that it has been released without one. 86.172.137.232 (talk) 21:33, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- As far as I've seen no details of a video have been released, so we can't say there will be a video until we know for sure. But I can't see them not doing a video. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:02, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
Sorry? i Dont understand , make it sound so negative? the song is good (amazing actually) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.76.192.129 (talk) 15:56, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Charts
[edit]I've searched several chart functions including billboard and acharts but have not been able to find any articles or charts that support these claims that the song has reached 50 on the hot 100 or 15 on canadian hot 100. should it not be removed until sources are found. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:08, 24 September 2009 (UTC))
- The official Billboard website notes the debut on #50. RichV 23:11, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- It has definitely charted in those positions but I just can't find any sources. RichV, can you give us a link? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:23, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
I've just updated it. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:27, 24 September 2009 (UTC))
- All I can see in your reference is that it's at 15 in the Canadian chart. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:41, 24 September 2009 (UTC)
- the way the new billboard website works is if you click song it shows where else the song is charted. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 18:33, 25 September 2009 (UTC))
- I would have clicked on it if it appeared to be clickable but as my mouse pointer didn't change I didn't attempt to click. But it's only a temporary reference anyway. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 19:46, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

- sorry maybe i didnt explain it very clearly, if you click the white space (box) around the song it shows where else the song has charted. (Lil-unique1 (talk) 00:31, 26 September 2009 (UTC))
- I meant before, when I first looked at the page. After you said "click song" I clicked the word "Happy" even though my mouse pointer didn't change to show it was clickable, and the other charts appeared. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 10:38, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Reference number 14 no longer gives the correct information. Can someone with knowledge of the Billboard website please update to a page that shows the position of the song in the charts last week instead of this week? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:01, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
Video part 2
[edit]We currently have an unsourced description of what the video is about. I found a source but unfortunately it's blacklisted from Wikipedia. Does anyone have a source that's not from aceshowbiz.com? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:59, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Added this one from the Daily Mail. Dt128 let's talk 20:53, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
- Brilliant, thanks. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 21:09, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Paul O'Grady
[edit]Every day on The Paul O'Grady Show they say who is "coming soon" and Leona was named yesterday and also last week sometime. I used {{cite episode}} because there's no online source for it yet. There's no reason why that can't be used as a reference. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 10:02, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Video part three
[edit]Apparently there are three different versions of the video, the latest being premiered on ITV earlier tonight. I think this should be included in the article but not without a reliable source. Any ideas? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:14, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Charts section
[edit]The new table looks messy and is not even mentioned at WP:CHARTS. It is unnecessary to list the chart providers. Thoughts? Dt128 let's talk 16:05, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
why did leona lewis write that song happy i hope jonathan likes me??? from shakria
Precious
[edit]Happy was in the trailer for Oprah Winfrey's Precious. Should this be included? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.42.168.19 (talk) 19:28, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
