John Terry
[edit]I have edited out this apparent error "He is the great-grandfather of the England and Chelsea football player, John Terry. "
Harry Cox and his brother Fred used to drink with my daughter's godfather in Hickling and Potter Heigham in Norfolk. What I know of Harry's family does not suggest a relationship to John Terry. A similar comment on John Terry's page was flagged for months with a request for supporting citation but none was forthcoming. An examination of John Terry's family does not suggest any relationship to Harry Cox.
I'll add some more content to this page shortly, he influenced both folk singers and classical composers and has left an enduring legacy. IainWallace (talk) 01:16, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
List of songs he knew
[edit]Is there a list of songs he knew? Presumably such a list could be compiled from his mentions on the various records, but there might be other sources too?
Given part of his notability is the truly wide and extensive array of folk songs he knew, it would be a valuable addition to the article I suspect? 2A02:C7C:C48F:5C00:F1A:98A1:8D8F:2071 (talk) 21:12, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
